Role and Responsibilities
ABB is one of the leading suppliers of products, systems, and service solutions in electrical power worldwide. The market is growing, and we need to expand our team. At ABB Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations across Sweden – from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. We are currently looking for service technicians in electrical power for Västerås. Our mission is to provide services that increase operational reliability, availability, and profitability while reducing environmental impact in our customers' production facilities. We cover the entire lifecycle of the facility and help our customers work with continuous improvements.

A service coordinator plays a central role in planning, coordinating, and following up service efforts to ensure that customer needs are met. It is a role where you are in constant collaboration with various stakeholders such as customers, sales, project management, and service technicians, providing them with the information needed to deliver safely and qualitatively to customer requests.
- Planning and Coordination: Organize and plan service assignments for our ABB service technicians or service providers. Ensure that spare parts, tools, and equipment are in place before service assignments. Plan and schedule technicians based on competence, customer requirements, and the facility's operational conditions. Receive and register service requests from industrial customers. Collaborate with production, warehouse, sales teams, and service managers to ensure effective deliveries.
- Communication: Be the link between customers, service technicians, and internal departments. Ensure clear and professional communication.
- Administrative Tasks: Document service requests, manage orders, invoicing, and follow-up.
- Follow-up and Reporting: Follow up on ongoing and completed cases, analyze statistics, and report results.
- Improvement Work: Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Contact: Handle customer complaints, feedback, and ensure that SLAs and timelines are met.
Your Background
- Experience in an administrative or coordinating role within industry, technology, production, or service.
- Good computer skills and experience with business systems; experience with SAP, Salesforce, and FSL is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written (Swedish and English).
- Ability to work systematically, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.
- Technical knowledge is a plus.
